We had about 200 people attend the 2-day conference, they enjoyed our 21 presentations about all aspects of wordpress, catered lunches both days, random but awesome raffle prizes and afterparty the first night.<\/p>\n<p>WordCamp Montreal 2010 was organized by\u00a0 <a title=\"Cafe Noir Design\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cafenoirdesign.com\/\">Shannon Smith<\/a>, <a title=\"Brendan Sera-Sriar - Digibomb\" href=\"http:\/\/digibombinc.com\/\">Brendan Sera-Sriar<\/a> and <a title=\"Jeremy Clarke - WordPress developer from Montreal.\" href=\"http:\/\/simianuprising.com\/\">Jeremy Clarke<\/a>, with help from all the speakers, volunteers, sponsors and participants. Certain standards are required when submitting a theme to the WordPress Free Themes directory, and these standards should be followed even when developing Premium Themes. Luckily, there are tons of great resources available to point you in the right direction, and I will show you exactly what a developer needs to start creating themes that work with the latest release of WordPress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bio:<\/strong> c.bavota has been involved with the WordPress community since 2006. He recently helped with the release of WordPress 3.0 and is one of the theme reviewers on WordPress.org.
