Event Management with Backbone.js<\/span><\/strong>

In this talk we’ll discuss using Backbone.js to handle Models and Views on the front end, and how to hook it into plugins using WordPress’s actions and filters. After that, we’ll dive into using the built-in Backbone.Events to manage communications between models, views, and the DOM.\u00a0<\/span>

Automattic’s Team Mercury will be available afterwards to answer Backbone.js and WordPress questions about o2, upcoming successor to the unique real-time p2 theme.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Jennifer Dodd is a Code Wrangler for Automattic based in Fredericksburg, VA. Her code is evenly split between PHP and JavaScript; the remainder of her time is devoted to her family, chickens, and home improvement projects.<\/p>\n

Gestions d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements\u00a0avec\u00a0Backbone.js<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

La pr\u00e9sentation discutera de Backbone.js et comment g\u00e9rer les mod\u00e8les et les vues sur le “front end” ainsi que l’int\u00e9gration avec les plugins en utilisant le syst\u00e8me de “hooks” et “filters”. Ensuite, il y aura une d\u00e9monstration de comment utiliser les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de Backbone pour g\u00e9rer la communication entre les mod\u00e8les, vues et le DOM.<\/p>\n
