Il y avait 12 personnes pr\u00e9sentes, incluant 5 organisateurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pr\u00e9sentation du budget\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le prix du billet demeure \u00e0 $50.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Si nous avons des restants de lunch, trouver une oeuvre de charit\u00e9 qui les distribue aux sans-abris. <strong>Prochaine \u00e9tape:<\/strong>\u00a0Omar\u00a0va faire des recherches et nous revenir l\u00e0 dessus.<\/li>\n<li>Nous devons utiliser le traiteur fourni par Concordia,\u00a0il est donc impossible d&#8217;avoir le lunch donn\u00e9 mais pourrions accepter une commandite en argent pour le repas.<\/li>\n<li>Si le budget le permet, nous aimerions ajouter un cadeau\u00a0pour remercier les conf\u00e9renci\u00e8res et conf\u00e9renciers.<\/li>\n<li>After-party: Dans un bar ou pas dans un bar? Moins de conf\u00e9renci\u00e8res\/ers et des sessions plus courtes?<\/li>\n<li>Faire une session pour pr\u00e9senter son site, comme les sessions \u00e0 Shannon.<\/li>\n<li>Plus de tables rondes &#8211; peut-\u00eatre choisis et organis\u00e9s par nous et la communaut\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Alterner les sessions \u00e9clair et les sessions longues.<\/li>\n<li>Organiser des AMAs, &#8216;ask me anything&#8217; &#8211; doit \u00eatre des c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s OU donner des informations sur les intervenants, pour que le sujet soit clair. There were 12 people, including 5 WordCamp organisers.<\/p>\n<h2>Budget Presentation<\/h2>\n<p>The ticket price will remain at $50.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Considerations for donating food leftovers for no-shows. <strong>Action item:<\/strong> Omar is going to look into a non-profit open and available for pick up on the weekend.<\/li>\n<li>We have to use the Concordia caterer, so little room for food sponsorship in-kind.<\/li>\n<li>Budget permitting, we\u2019d like to add a speaker gift.<\/li>\n<li>After party: Bar or no bar? Omar might know of a company to offer breakfast fruit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Discussion about sessions and activities at WordCamp<\/h2>\n<p>Ideas to get more people on Sunday and other ways to vary the schedule.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Networking sessions<\/li>\n<li>Do workshops on Sunday instead, 2h blocks<\/li>\n<li>Idea of shortening the talk slot to 20 min talk + Q&amp;A<\/li>\n<li>Adding lightning talks, 10 min talks, maybe some on each day<\/li>\n<li>Try and schedule to make Sunday afternoon intentionally more interesting.<\/li>\n<li>Contributor day? One part of the weekend? Or as part of a workshop?<\/li>\n<li>Cancel Sunday morning? Start at 12.<\/li>\n<li>Giveaways?<\/li>\n<li>Promote any surprises, like the Sunday sweets bar<\/li>\n<li>Workshops can be charged entry outside of the WordCamp weekend. If workshops are within the WordCamp days, we can\u2019t charge.<\/li>\n<li>Foundation Friday, for beginners, intro to prep them for WordCamp. Ladies Learning Code workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Code a few days before?<\/li>\n<li>Shorten the days? Fewer speakers and shorter talks?<br \/>\nShow and tell period like Shannon\u2019s session.<\/li>\n<li>More panels &#8211; maybe more crafted and curated by us and the community.<\/li>\n<li>Mix and match lightning talks and long talks.<\/li>\n<li>AMAs &#8211; needs to be celebrities OR give information about the speakers so it\u2019s clear what to ask about.
